I wasn't aware that you had to direct the output like that - I thought
it would keep a msg file somewhere....

Speaking of primative connections, the back of INTERNET.AU has an ad
for satellite access from Access1 at $29/mo - 128k download, modem for
upload (standard stuff) - 750Mb/mo download limit...

Spoke to them today and they said they do not support Linux and expect
a Windows machine to get the connection going - they don't support
gateways / networks, etc.

However;

Their technical manager emailed me the links to the necessary drivers
to get it working, and said that there are a few people running servers
on it - unofficially they don't care....

Have a look at www.access1.net.au if you're interested - I'm thinking
of taking him up on his offer of a free temporary installation to get
the Linux side working and write the doco for them (for a suitably
large fee, of course !!!)
