i have sort of the same setup. 20gb HDD with linux and windows on
it. after much stuffing around i have setup the following...
10mb linux boot partition primary (hda1) (within 1024 cyl limit)
2000mb windows primary (c:)
2000mb windows primary (d:) (hidden sometimes)
16000mb extended partition
2000 linux ext2 partition (this translates as hda5)
6000 linux ext2 partition (hda6)
2000 windows
2000 windows
2000 windows
2000 windows
i know the last windows partitions seems strange but i want it that way.
also i use GAG as a boot manager. works great!
this config has worked flawlessly for a few months now. also i use
partition magic, ghost and NT.
