Thanks to everyone who gave me advice,
windows+linux is now working well. It was
really easy (when you know how :-)
Ken Yap suggested the simplest layout, so
now my partition table is something like
this:
50M Linux /boot
12G Windows
8G Linux ext
... swap
/
So I end up with one huge C: and one huge /
If you run Linux fdisk to set up the partition table,
then install windows, then install Linux, you get
everything available straight away; RedHat even put
windows into my lilo for me.
