Seriously, Linux needs a groupware/messaging/email service. Developerd know
it, thats why there is so many people trying to make em. Just look on
freshmeat or sourceforge.
Hey don't get me wrong, exchange does suck, but it does have features that
are yet to be equalled/reverse engineered. The office where my comapany
colocates uses exchange, and i refuse to use it cos it makes outlook really
slow and dodgy. Internet Mail Only mode for outlook keeps it quite trim and
with reasonable performance. I'm yet to find a shared calendaring setup that
rivals Netfolders tho. Sorry, but they aren't there yet. Sure they are
coming, but they aren't there yet.
The need is there, and they are working on it, but for know that MS piece of
shite does have it over any Linux equivalent.
