They all suck. There, I said it. ;)
The only way of doing Multilink under Linux (without most of the flake) is
with new pppd's and, you guessed it, 2.4. Sucks, huh?

Understandable. ;) BSD may be your best bet tho.

That's the catch. I'm sure you know the specifics, but for anyone else
interested in this stuff, you have to either have a Linux box or a
Livingston Portmaster on the other end to do EQL. Nothing else supports it.
2.2 kernels support EQL, but not Multilink. Very, very annoying.
I skipped it all and went with cable, using the modems (3) as dial-ins.
Turned out the cable was cheaper, and I'm in the good books for joining all
the locations. C'est la vie. :)
