If I'm not wrong, I think rsync is a rcp with a twist. I remember reading
the man pages about that.

And there are windows versions of rcp and other commands so you might be
lucky there...

yes

It is something I would like to offer to our smaller clients who only
have a single box web server, and don't have a fast connection to pull
back the data on to the office....

I spose if I could get something like rsync working linux <-> windows,
that would be cool too.
