There's an old trick that most modems aren't susceptible to these days - put
a modem escape in anything that could be downloaded, such as email.
Generally to hang up, but you can do a fair few other things. Some people I
know even put this text in their headers... :) Evil, but they know their
audience.
Can someone check their digest archives (if they have them) to see if #280
included the old <insert three plus signs for modem escape here>ATH trick?
