Hello Folks,
Thankyou to all who responded with help to my plea. I located both fdisk
and cfdisk, cfdisk is certainly a nicer utility. For those who may be
interested hda7 is the FAT16 partition I am hoping to format. I should
have twigged when I had the doco on my browser and simply 'saved' it,
but I didn't. I was hung up on ftp'ing it. I'll have a go on the
mirrors. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, nothing learned. If I finish
up having to re-install Linux then, like you all said, it's all
experience!
Before I go though, another question... I have X up and running OK with
a res of 1024 X 768 which is quite nice but I would like the font to be
just a tad bigger. How can I increase the font size? I am using
enlightenment and gnome.
Thanks again.

Graeme Nichols.
