(Assuming you're running XFree86  3.3.x, right?)

Edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config file, and swap all of the 100dpi and 75dpi
lines in the font section, so that the 100dpi lines come first.

Easy as that! :)

(If they're not there, you'll need to install the 100dpi fonts package for
your distribution.)
