Hi All.

I have used SuSE 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 and now 7.0 and RedHat 6.0, 6.2 on
the same h/w and have had no problem with the mouse under X. - A PS2
Mouse that is.

I did have problems with the serial mouse on RedHat 6.0 and
6.2 and I think the problem is the mix of apps that may address the serial
port mouse. If I put the serial mouse on my 16 serial Comtrol Rocket port (a
memory mapped device) the issue didn't arise. Make of this what you will, but
I think its still a overabundance of interrupts on the serial mouse that
stuffs the bottom half ISR. There was a early issue with GPM and KDE
coexisting but that is old (~ 1.5yrs).

Cheers, Grahame.
