Cubase.... Cakewalk.... Orchestrator...
Pfft.
We could easily just have a holywar for MIDI sequencing/notation software as
we could for linux distros.
I myself am a Cakewalk fan... Linux's true day for MIDI will come when we
have a good range of professional grade products to choose from.
