Hi Terrry

I typed in "lilypond tied notes" into yahoo and found people out there talking about 
problems with tied notes.  Do you have a copy of the reference manual?  It talked 
about tied notes in there.  You can find it here

I wouldn't mind knowing if other people have found that the midi part of
Liliypond doesn't do tied notes correctly. I'm getting individual notes
played, rather than the key held.
