If that was the case then why ask the SLUG group for an answer if the
answers are out on the web..
This is just a web formatted version of the common questions answered placed
in a organised fashion instead of an archive based. How many people
seriously hunt through the archives carefully as I'm sure most are unsure
and just mail the group. I usually search through the web but alot of times
fail with multiple finds which go nowhere...
People search the web and find what they want but don't make sense and when
they ask the group it does so why not place the answer on a WebFAQ page..
that's all I'm suggesting..
PS: I'm not meaning to make a long thread of it..

Instead of keeping FAQs, keep a list of URLs; most of the information is
already in documents on the Web. If you maintain your own FAQ it risks
getting out of date quickly.
A lot of questions can be answered by a web search.
