Hi,
I am trying to smbmount a share on an NT server. I am able to mount other
shares on the NT server, that have the same permissions and ownership as
this share, that I have trouble with.
The log tells me when I mount that share:
Dec 7 08:36:38 backup kernel: smb_proc_readdir_long: name=(^Dv)^[~w),
entries=205, rcls=1, err=123
Dec 7 08:36:38 backup kernel: smb_refill_dircache: readdir failed,
result=-2
What does this cryptic message mean?
The problem is, that when I want to do an 'ls -la' I get nothing. This leads
to me not being able to do a 'cp' of all the directories and files for
backup purposes either.
However I can 'cd' to the directories and do an 'ls -la' there fine.
So which directory or file name is giving me trouble, if any?
