Hi Craig,
I spoke to DELL today and they said that the Lattitude XPi is one of the
few notebooks that they do NOT have Linux video drivers for.
Having said that, I believe it can be done, but it may take a little work.
BTW, your new machine and monitor arrived today - PIII/750 with 20Gb H/D
and a 19" monitor (bastard !!) - also a CD Burner, 1Gb JAZ and 250Mb ZIP
to go on the second machine.
Couple of interesting items coming up - we have the repatching to do in
Bridge St (Jan 13 it looks like), plus we have to schedule the replacement
of 5 hubs in Margaret St with Cisco Switches (arrived today - not even
going to think about this until the end of Jan !!).
I'll be in a meeting with Dereck on Friday, primarily to discuss what
changes Bruce's resignation will have on both of us - you have a shitload
of work to do (!!!), but I'm probably going to pick up quite a bit of his
as well.
If I get a chance over the weekend, I'll email you a list of all the
upcoming events we have to schedule work for...:-)
