Perhaps not wholly, in fact it turned out to be the sole solution a week ago
when I installed Potato on my laptop. This machine has never had problems
booting off CDs or floppies before (dos or linux), but it simply refused to
boot Potato off CD or floppies (dd-ed or rawrite-ed).

So what I'm trying to say is that, it's a good option to have :) And shame
on you Jeff, you burned those CDs too :P
