1. Run YAST in a terminal window (or from the command line).
2. Select "Adjustment of installation" (2nd menu option)
3. Select "Select Keymap" (2nd menu option - I'd suggest "qwerty/us")
4. Select ACCEPT.
5. Exit YAST
Or you can;
1. Run YAST as before.
2. Select SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
3. Select CHANGE CONFIGURATION FILE
4. Find KEYTABLE
5. Insert the name of your desired keymap
6. Exit YAST
Or even;
1. Edit /etc/rc.config
2. Search for KEYTABLE
3. Make it "KEYTABLE=us.map.gz" (for US keytable)
