thanks for the suggestions so far.
i did follow all the instructions and deleted those files
i checked the bios and my agp apature is on 64mb which is correct
one thing tho, i have sort of found the problem well an answer anyway.
say i start up tuxracer everything goes yuck etc but i start a game anyway
then once in the game i resize the window just a tad bigger or smaller and
suddenly everything is crystle clear again with no distortions. so i
close tuxracer and it rembers my new res, i re open TR and i get the
same prolem.. i have to re-adjust the res.
the same works in q3a but it is a bit of a bugger having to do this..
does this spread any light it is a solution but not really an answer.
btw sorry bout the last message but i am playing w/ pine and other mailers
and hit the wrong button.. ;-)
