[SLUG] NFS dikless client

G'day all,
    I have been trying to get some diskless clients working with root nfs.
It works a bit when I share out the actual root of the nfs server,
 but when I try and populate a filesystem for the clients in another
directory they mount
root ok (according to the kernel message) but then I get an error

init not found


What am I missing?
