Hi all,
I have a small problem with my machine. Executing "ps afx" will cause a
segmentation fault. This will only occur if the machine is on for a while.
It lead me to believe initially that ps cannot deal with how many processes
it running, but after thinking for more then 10 seconds I came to realise
this is not true as I am running close to nothing on the box.
The funny thing is that when "ps afx" is dumping a core, I can execute
"ps ax" and there is no problem whatsoever.
Does anybody have any ideas what this could be?
Oh yeah, I just remembered, it would help if I said I was running RedHat
6.2.
Thanks,
George
