Hi,
I need some help with the concept of virtual servers using Apache.
I have SuSE set up using Apache, this worked fine with the doc root set to
/usr/local/apache/htdocs
I wanted to (and succeeded) setup AUC on this system as well, it likes to
default the doc root to /home/httpd.
So I setup a virtual server using Webmin (not really knowing what I was
doing) and I can now use the AUC doc root and the cgi script in the normal
apache cgi-bin, this was good (and a real surprise to me that it worked).
The problem is that I have some local help desk type pages in the Apache
root directory, if I try to access them using: http://servername ( or ip
address) I get the following:

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Apache/1.3.14 Server at AUC Port 80

Now AUC is the name of the Virtual Server. I can't find any .htaccess files
that are stopping me accessing the directory.
Anyone have any ideas on what I have done?
