Hi Sluggers.
I have two machines running sshd. Both have the same /etc/hosts.allow
/etc/hosts.deny and ipchains setups. On machine A I can ssh xxxxx -l bigbird
without any problem, account bigbird is on each machine.
However doing so the opposite way round ends in:
ringtail:~ # ssh 210.23.144.217 -l bigbird
Secure connection to 210.23.144.217 refused.
this is over a ppp link.
The /var/log/warn logs don't show anything, even disabling ipchains and
allowing anyone access still results in the same problem. I have searched
the slug archives without must success. Both machines running SuSE7.0.
Anyone provide suggestions.
