I had a quick read of my AUP and it simply states and I quote
the relevant clauses actually I won't because they're too long but
basically what it says is that if you're on a flat rate account you're
only allowed to connect one computer and not run any services.
However it states that if you're paying by the meg then you can connect
a network and it doesn;t say that you can't run servers.
Now lat time I checked telstra only offer a volume based 1.5meg
plan so you shouldn't have any problems there. Only problem with telstra
is that they haven't gotten there act together and therefore you can't
get permie ip's. So if you have any corporate use in mind I suggest you
elsewhere eg PI
