[SLUG] Pure x windows

I have a redhat 6.2 system on a 486 and I want to run this as a pure
xterm on my system for my kids (stay out of the ^&&*(( office kids!)

How do I do this on boot up?   It would be nice for it to boot directly
to the gdm sign on screen.
