RH is trying to make LINUX accessible to a broader range of people
and I think they doing a reasonable good job (note that you cant make
it perfect for everybody).

I disagree.
Windooooze has the problem that administring a machine is by bloody point
and click *ONLY* (if you use it out off the box). You got to buy all this additional
tools to be able to administer an entire network, and if you dont install
perl (which you need to download) you have NO chance of doing it properly.
I can configure a complete set of RH machines *EASILY* without the need to buy
any additional tools and or the need to install anything else.
And yes, it involves using emacs/vi, *BUT I CAN*!
And you no what? You are faster doing it this way than with the GUI apps.
But it involves you need to know .... but thats again the beauty of the HOWTOS.
With RH you have the choice of running X or NOT; at least you have a choice!
With Windooze you have not.
