sorry if you've already received a reply to this, but in case you haven't:
linuxconf under RH 7.1 (and probably 7.0) allows you to turn various modules on and
off. These modules allow configuration of certain items. The item you wish to
configure may not be enabled by default.
There should be a configuration tab where you can enable / disable each module and you
should find one for ppp here.

The RedHat 7 system I'm working on has linuxconf but there is no way
to configure ppp from inside that. There used to be on RedHat but it
seems to have been removed and put into GUI tools.
Yes I could create my own scripts but that kind of defeats the purpose
of using a distribution, doesn't it.
