I don't know about RH 7, but earlier versions had a couple of scripts in the
ppp docs...

try "locate ppp-on" and check what directories are turned up...

hang on, i have an account on a RH 7 box, just bear with me... (don't you
hate realtime emails ;)

here we go... have a look at the stuff in /usr/share/doc/ppp-?.?.?/scripts/

basically it is the framework for a dialout setup... you just need to
replace a few variables (eg. phone number, username, password etc.) and move
them into your path...
