Another alterantive is LaTeX.

I can send you 
(a) a simplified LaTeX manual (.pdf file)
(b) a sample LaTeX document  (.tex file)

I was given the above two file ad was creating printer-ready
postscript within 1/2 hour. Use the .text file as a starter,
modify to suit and you're away to the printers.
