It can be sheeted to M$.
By doing this they prevent you from making legitimate copies of their
application software, so if you get a stuffed disk then you have one hell
of a problem getting a replacement. They only introduced this at some
stage in 1994 because I have a copy of M$ Office Professional that runs to
31 floppies as well as one that only runs to 24 floppies.
Trouble is that both sets have some corrupted disks now, and I need them
to support the one client who still insists on running 3.11 and Office
4.3.
I have now told him that I will not provide further support for his
config.
