Using 2.4.7 (doesnt seem to matter). Works fine on windows machines but I
havnt tried a mac yet.

What kernel version (2.4.???) are you using, and does it matter?
Any probs plugging it into Windows or Mac machines later?

Well it's that or track down a new laptop floppy drive and limit
myself to 1.44M of removable storage... Plus geek chic factor.
