Something Else:
"I need to store some data. Oh, I will use a database! That is what stores
data!"
"I need to handle a number of things at the same time. Threads! Threads
are what handle things at the same time!"
(Databases and threads are often overkill; next time you think you want to
use threads, eat an apple, and write a state machine. Have a look at the boa
web server, by the way.)
