Does anyone have any experience with an Epson 6 colour inkjet under
Linux?
Or should I just stick to a four colour?
For the reson that HP[1] have shite technical information[2] on the
inkjet printers, and Cannon inkjets will only handle 160gsm paper, I
look like buying another Epson inkjet printer for colour printing, this
time under Linux. The toss up is whether to stick with the older 4 ink
models or if it is worth the $44 for a 6 ink model. Any feedback
welcome.
[1] The feedback on Linux printing seems to be that HP is preferrable
over Epson as the Epson printhead clogs, whereas the HP doesn't as it is
replaced with each cartridge. Very few comments on the Cannon.
[2] The only way I can find technical specs as oppossed to sales specs
in the HP site is through a Google search. No google page = no specs
available.
