After all the questions put to the list, surely someone has a "Linux and Online Banking" FAQ/page/HOWTO/registry etc... we could just keep that up to date.
It might not solve Johns original problem, but it would help to focus attention, and reduce traffic somewhat. Perhaps someone would like to do an online banking speech for an upcoming meeting? ( Although how your going to get an account from each bank I don't know... :) Adam -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of David Sent: Tuesday, 11 December 2001 3:24 PM To: John Nicholls Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [SLUG] National Bank Internet Banking You could try changing to Westpac. Either accidentally or deliberately (?), they have managed to write a web based banking system that is supported by all recent browsers I have tried - Netscape & IE (RH, Mac, Win), Konqueror, Opera, Mozilla (RH, Mac). Other banks are just bloody minded. On Tue, 11 Dec 2001, John Nicholls wrote: > In October I participated in a trial by the National Bank of their new > browser-based Internet banking service.
