Hey man is the applet trying to use port 3334 to establish a secure (ssl) type connection? If so then maybe a secure proxy is required?

I'm no expert on this tho, but that's just a suggestion.

Subject: [SLUG] Port 3334

HI guys I need help big time. I have been using ISA (Microsoft Firewall \ Proxy)

Needless to say have had major problems with it. I have a particular that I need to logon onto that loads up a Java applet...( Cool ).

I could not manage go get this to work using ISA server...therefore I decided that I would quiclkly use smoothwall to get the people that need this applet access.

I installed Smoothwall and enabled the proxy service and still , no luck this applet would not run.,,,The current network configure has given me a number of vaild IP to play with therefore I simple hooked in my notebook before the PROXY servers , and could load the web page \ applet ( It works!!! ).

After having no luck I decided to try Mandrake SNF ( Another firewall \ proxy ) and the same result takes place ?>>>>

It seems when using a proxy it will not load.

The applet uses port 3334....any help would be great as this little issue is turning into a real mess.

Cheers
