Incorrect, I'm able to reply to the original post *AND* I didn't even 
notice it was in HTML till you quoted it.

True. The sender *should* include a non-html version as well. The mail 
client should spot the text only version & display that. People who happen 
to be running Linux should upgrade to a later version of their favourite 
mail reader and possibly the /etc/mailcap and /etc/mime* files if they're 
still seeing raw html in their email so there's no problem there really.

Amen to that! But the same could be said for poor quoting style and 
excessively large signatures both of which are on my personal hate list. 
Folks, it doesen't take much effort to prune your replies!

If you take 'HTML' out of above statement it still holds true in my 
opinion. Definitely a mess will result quicker if you quote the HTML code 
instead of the result as in your case.

Prolly right on all 3 there. I would *prefer* it if people stuck to plain 
text. Except for attachments :-)
