Hi, I have just been researching/testing a few variations with AMaViS. (www.amavis.org) I tried the following virus scanners:
NAI/McAfee VirusScan - After installing a required library and a minor edit of the amavis script, works fine. Sophos antivirus - Easy to install, no fiddling with libraries needed. Kaspersky antivirus - Took some inelegant tweaking of the amavis script, but got it working. In all three cases, amavis-perl-11 was used, with postfix as the MTA. Make sure you follow the documentation, and install the required files. (arc was 'fun' to install - the source would not compile on a Mandrake 8.1 box, but did so on a RH6.1 box, so I just grabbed the binary! Works!)
