My flatmate has an old PII machine and, since I've upgraded, I was
hoping to let him have my hand-me-down RAM. The machine is based
around the Intel AL440LX mobo which can only deal with 66MHz SDRAM.
The SIMMs are PC100 (x2) and PC133 (x1).

I always thought you could clock down but we just stuck it in and the
machine wouldn't even get to POST beep stage. Is there some
fundamental different between 66MHz and PC100/133 RAM that means I
can't donate my spare RAM to him?
