How about a kind of dual talk and Q&A thing; a short talk on, say, file
permissions, and then a Q&A so that everyone can contribute? This may make
the scary-talk thing a bit less daunting.

Hey, seriously, we're going to consider anyone who contributes a talk, no
matter what it is. If it looks like we can work a couple of cool ideas into
a single meeting, the dual-talk thing is worth a try.
We just need some talks to start with! :) [ I've offered a few, some ctte
members have, and we have a few from the list already, private and public,
but the more the better. ]
