I didn't miss your point, I was merely pointing out that there *is* a keyring for this list if you want it. People aren't required to upload their keys to a keyserver -- in which case you can ignore their signature and treat the mail as if it wasn't signed at all. All this is covered in the GNU Privacy Howto and other documents, which are all linked from http://spacepants.org/slug/.
