hmm.. after writing this list, i *would* consider them appropriate for a SLUG audience, so i guess they don't count as "highly technical". naturally they could all be ramped up until they became truly inappropriate.. here they are anyway: apache (1.3) internals and mod_perl Embperl (think of it as php, except with perl and more magic HTML-understanding stuff) (X)Emacs (and elisp?)
