Sluggers,
I'm wanting to account for the massive telstra bill for bpa.
There's 2 teenagers on the lan, and right now my question is:
If they leave their ICQ programs running non-stop, and they each have at
least 100 contacts, in what order of magnitude would the total number of
bytes of traffic be with AOL constantly probing to see if they're still
around?
I've only taken an interest in this sort of thing recently. Is there any
decent accounting software? I've just been using `etherape' to see the
huge number of connections going on, and quite frankly. I'd like to be
able to say to the boys: "You've used 2gigs already, go outside and play
in the yard". That sort of thing.
And in this context does anyone know the significance of
<01><02>__MSBRO
?
Evening,
Nick
