there's the redhat sndconfig tool available (once you install it) if
you want. i've never used it, so i don't know what its like.

if you know what driver you need, etc then you could use modconf(8)
and choose the driver and whatever parameters it needs. the module
will then be automatically loaded at system boot.

else (what i do) you could just add the appropriate modules.conf lines
to (eg) /etc/modutils/audio and then run update-modules(8).
