This message is filling my dmesg report when I run it: VFS: Disk change detected on device ide 1(22,0) (this is hdc isn't it)
I beleive it's due to RH7.3 with 2.4.18 kernel polling my cd-rom for automount. Should I get rid of the automount program magicdev or is their a more rational way of resolving this. My main problem is I like to use dmesg but find it's useless when this is all I can see.
