Hi All, Several weeks ago I posted a question re unable to establish a connection between my Linux box and a windows box. I had the manual but it just wasn't happening. The problem was I wasn't using a twisted pair cable. As soon as I put in the right cable there was Samba. Thanks to all those who posted back suggestions. Grant
