I'd have to disagree here - pointing out the NEGATIVE aspects of 
Microsoft's offerings vs. Linux is most appropriate - if that's your 
definition of "Microsoft bashing". The article being refered to was, IMHO, 
spot on and appropriate for THIS list.

Hmmm.... Doesn't seem that way some times - based on emails for the past 
4.5 years (I have some from late 1998), it would appear that Debian is "de 
rigeur", and we SuSE / Redhat users are, if not exactly ridiculed for our 
choice, then certainly looked down upon...

But then again, Debian *is* used by most of the "core" people in SLUG I 
gather - how about banning distro-specific discussions as well.... Makes as 
much sense as banning discussion of competing OS manufacturers.....
