Hello, I'm a beginner at configuring X. I've just installed Debian on my laptop off my spiffy new Woody CD's (thanks http://www.everythinglinux.com.au).
I can run X as root, but not as regular user: X: Unable to open wrapper config file /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config X: User not authorized to run X server, aborting, giving up. Is there something I can run to configure this for me? (I have my old XF86config file from my 'potato' installation on the same machine but it looks like I won't need it, if I can work out this Xwrapper problem.) Thanks, all suggestions gratefully received, mark a. bell __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
