Dave,

Thanks for your reply.

The board is in fact listed in /proc/pci, as a network controller on Bus 0,
Device 13, Function 0
IRQ 10.

/dev/ttyS4 existed, but /dev/cua4 did not. So I created it using

 cd /dev/
./MAKEDEV cua4

I also run setserial as per the README for the intra4 device driver download.

However when I run minicom on ttyS4 it don't respond, I.E I expect to see a
modem initialisation
and then an OK prompt. My assumation is correct Yeah?

I assume that the serial drives in the 2.4 kernal are hardwired in by default
(I,E Redhat 7.2 distribution).
So I shouldn't have to do any insmod or the like.

Any other cluesticks?

Thanks

Pete

Hi,

I have used these cards.
They should be detected as normal serial ports by a 2.4 kernel.
Check dmesg for any serial detection lines.
other than that you may need to use setserial to set them up.
the banksia site does have linux info IIRC
