Twiki is also apparently good. I'd look at doing something like web seaarch engine (htdig) plus samba. Integration of the two is an exercise left for the reader :-) (Giving the search results as file:// rather than http, and enforcing security separation (making sure that files you can't see cannot come up in search results).
