Correct - Your PC "talks" to the 'net at 33.6k max, and the 'net "talks" back 
to you at up to 56k (although on an allegedly perfect line I've never seen 
more that 48k, and Telstra claim that their PSTN lines are rated at 2400 baud 
only !!!)

You can still get it if you can't get ADSL, but at $1k/month plus data charges 
for 64k !!!
