I originally installed debian woody with exim, then decided to try out
postfix so did the necessary apt-get install postfix.

this process uninstalled exim, which is not totally unreasonable, although
I didn't ask it to.

Now I find that their is a S20exim and then a S20postfix script in the rc
directories. Obviously exim won't start (it isn't on the system). If I
attempt apt-get remove exim I'm told that exim isn't there.

should I worry? is this a bug? Ive noticed lots of other exim detritus
around the place too (exim cron scripts for instance). Is there a sensible
way of cleaing up orphaned files, scripts and configs?
